Sherwood Open House: Community Welcome

A community open house to tour the new Sherwood building will be held on Saturday, April 6 from 1pm to 4pm– all are welcome to visit this outstanding new school facility during that time.

“Yard Sale” At The Old Sherwood Middle School

Updated (2/7/2013): Postponed due to Blizzard from February 9 to February 16.

The public is invited to purchase surplus furniture and materials from the Old Sherwood Middle School on Saturday, February 9 February 16 from 9am-4pm.  This is cash and carry only at extremely low prices.  We welcome recyclers who wish to make bulk purchases, as well as families who may want to purchase a desk or a bookcase for a tiny fraction of what could be found elsewhere.

Pennies For Paton’s Playground

Similar to our “Small Change Challenge,” a coin drive has been started to help the playground.  “Pennies of Paton” is a coin drive devised by Spring Street School student Caitlin Mooney has set up coin buckets in three prominent locations around town: at Spring Street School, at the Shrewsbury Public Library, and at Lilliput Early Learning Center.

Playground: Spring PTO Pitches In

The Spring Street School PTO has contributed to the Paton Playground project.  The proceeds from a recent Bake Sale at the Spring Street School were donated to the Paton PTO for use in the Playground project.

Like all the schools’ playgrounds, the Paton Playground is used by children from all around town.  The Paton PTO greatly appreciates the help of our friends at Spring Street and look forward to working with them again soon in the future.

New Sherwood Summer Extensions Program

Registration period has been EXTENDED until 8:00 a.m. on Monday, May 23rd!

Payment is due on June 3rd. Checks only.

Weeks for the SSE Sessions:
Monday through Thursday
Week 1 – June 27th-30th
Week 2 – July 11th-14th
Week 3 – July 18th-21st
Week 4 – July 25th-28th

The new Sherwood Summer Extensions Program is dedicated to students entering grades 5, 6, and 7 in the fall. The program features fun and exciting academically geared courses for students seeking adventurous challenges this summer!
